Illegal Roblox Casino Returns Months After Shutdown
BloxFlip has quietly returned months after shutting down during last year’s Roblox gambling crackdown, raising renewed concerns over underage betting and unregulated casino platforms tied to Roblox.

BloxFlip, one of the Roblox-linked gambling sites exposed during last year’s investigations into underage betting, has quietly relaunched months after shutting down operations.
The platform resurfaced this week after reportedly emailing previous users to announce that the site was “back under new ownership,” despite operating with the same branding and nearly identical systems tied to Roblox accounts, Robux, and cryptocurrency withdrawals. The relaunch was first reported following renewed reporting connected to the original Sky News investigation into illegal Roblox casinos targeting minors.
The site originally disappeared in late 2024 after Roblox and UK regulators came under pressure over gambling platforms allowing children to wager Robux through casino-style games such as roulette and blackjack. At the time, BloxFlip publicly blamed legal pressure from Roblox for the shutdown.
Same Model, Same Concerns
According to recent reports, the relaunched version of BloxFlip still encourages users to sign in using Roblox-linked credentials before depositing Robux or virtual items into gambling games. Winnings can reportedly still be withdrawn either through Roblox-related systems or converted into cryptocurrency.
Investigations tied to the original scandal found that users openly identified themselves as minors inside casino chatrooms, often without moderation or intervention. Some platforms involved in the wider Roblox gambling ecosystem also reportedly advised users to bypass regional gambling restrictions through VPN services.
Roblox has continued stating that gambling involving Robux or Roblox items is strictly prohibited and that the company actively removes references to unauthorized gambling sites from its platform. Regulators in the UK have also said they remain in contact with Roblox while pursuing enforcement actions against illegal operators.

Growing Scrutiny Around Gaming Platforms
The return of BloxFlip comes as regulators and lawmakers continue paying closer attention to gambling mechanics, monetization systems, and addictive design inside gaming platforms.
Earlier this month, we also covered the Pennsylvania lawsuit targeting addictive game design, which accused major gaming companies of using psychological systems designed to encourage excessive spending and engagement among younger players.
While the Pennsylvania case focuses on monetization and behavioral systems inside mainstream games, the Roblox casino situation pushes the issue even further by tying underage users directly to unregulated gambling ecosystems operating outside licensed markets.
Despite multiple shutdowns and investigations over the past year, the broader Roblox gambling scene appears far from gone. Sites continue disappearing, relaunching, and shifting domains faster than regulators can fully contain them.
