PARIVISION outlast Aurora to win DreamLeague Season 29

PARIVISION survived a five-game series against Aurora Gaming to win DreamLeague Season 29 and continue its strong 2026 Dota 2 campaign.

PARIVISION outlast Aurora to win DreamLeague Season 29

PARIVISION claimed another major Dota 2 title on Sunday after defeating Aurora Gaming 3-2 in the DreamLeague Season 29 grand final, closing out one of the team’s cleanest runs of the year.

The series delivered the kind of five-game final tier-one Dota has been missing lately. PARIVISION entered the playoffs as one of the favorites after a strong group stage and carried that form through wins over Team Liquid, Team Falcons, and Team Spirit before meeting Aurora in the final.

The win gives PARIVISION its second DreamLeague trophy after previously winning Season 26 and adds another tier-one title to a roster that continues to establish itself among the strongest teams in the current Dota 2 circuit.

PARIVISION survives late Aurora push

Aurora pushed the final to all five maps after repeatedly punishing PARIVISION’s aggressive early-game drafts, but the series eventually swung back behind PARIVISION’s comfort picks and cleaner late-game execution.

The deciding game featured PARIVISION returning to its reliable Gyrocopter-Io combination, with the draft helping stabilize a tense final map after Aurora had clawed back from a 2-1 deficit.

The result capped off a near-flawless event for PARIVISION, which dropped just one series throughout the tournament. The team also walked away with the tournament’s top prize from the $1 million total pool.

Another major result in a packed 2026 calendar

DreamLeague Season 29 was already expected to carry major weight in the 2026 Dota 2 season given how crowded the tier-one schedule has become. Recent months have seen teams move directly between DreamLeague, ESL events, PGL tournaments, and regional qualifiers with almost no downtime between events.

PARIVISION’s latest title now places the team firmly in the conversation alongside Falcons, Spirit, and other top contenders heading deeper into the year’s biggest tournaments. The organization has consistently remained near the top of international events since entering Dota 2, but this run looked noticeably more stable compared to some of its earlier championship finishes.

Aurora, despite the loss, leaves DreamLeague with one of its strongest performances of the season after pushing the final further than most teams managed against PARIVISION during the event.
