Polymarket Becomes Official Prediction Market Partner of Liga MX in the U.S.
Polymarket has secured another major sports partnership, becoming the official prediction market partner of Liga MX in the United States.

Polymarket has added another major sports property to its growing portfolio of league partnerships, announcing a new agreement with Liga MX ahead of the start of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The prediction market platform and its data partner Genius Sports confirmed that Polymarket will become the official and exclusive prediction market partner of Liga MX in the United States. The partnership will allow eligible U.S. users to access Liga MX prediction markets beginning with the 2026-27 season, which is scheduled to begin in July following the conclusion of the World Cup.
The announcement arrives on the same day Mexico hosts the opening match of the FIFA World Cup 2026, a tournament in which the country will stage 13 matches across multiple venues.
Genius Sports to Provide Official Liga MX Data
As part of the agreement, Genius Sports will provide Polymarket with Liga MX's official data feeds and integrity services.
The data will be used to create and settle prediction market contracts related to Liga MX matches and competitions. In addition to supplying official league data, Genius Sports will also support integrity monitoring through its information-sharing framework, providing greater visibility into market activity connected to the league.
According to Genius Sports CEO Mark Locke, official data and integrity infrastructure have become increasingly important as prediction markets continue expanding across sports. The company already works with numerous leagues and betting-related partners worldwide, making it one of the most established data providers in the sports industry.
Polymarket added that the partnership builds on its broader integrity framework, which includes technology developed alongside Palantir Technologies and TWG AI.
Liga MX Joins Growing List of Polymarket Partners
The agreement continues Polymarket's strategy of securing official relationships with major sports organizations.
Over the past year, the company has established partnerships with several prominent leagues, including Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Hockey League (NHL), Major League Soccer (MLS), and the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The addition of Liga MX further strengthens Polymarket's presence in North American sports and gives the company access to one of the most-followed football leagues among Hispanic audiences in the United States.
Polymarket President of Sports Business Development Ari Borod said the partnership will allow the platform to offer Liga MX markets built on official league data while maintaining transparency and integrity standards.
Liga MX officials also described the agreement as a way to create new engagement opportunities for fans in the U.S. while preserving the credibility of league competitions.

Prediction Markets Continue Expanding Across Sports
The Liga MX deal is the latest example of prediction market operators deepening their ties to professional sports organizations.
Recent months have seen companies such as Polymarket and Kalshi secure new commercial partnerships, while sports data providers including Genius Sports and Sportradar have expanded their involvement in the sector. Earlier this week, Sportradar announced a dedicated Prediction Services division through a multi-year partnership with Kalshi, while Polymarket has continued growing its footprint across sports, media, and esports.
With Liga MX now joining Polymarket's roster of official league partners, the company continues to strengthen its position as one of the most visible brands in the rapidly growing prediction market industry.
