Sportradar Enters Prediction Markets Through Multi-Year Kalshi Partnership
Sportradar has launched a new Prediction Services division and signed a multi-year partnership with Kalshi, expanding its presence in the prediction market sector.

Sportradar has officially entered the prediction market sector through a new multi-year partnership with Kalshi, becoming the platform's official data and solutions provider.
The agreement marks one of the most significant commercial partnerships between a major sports technology company and a prediction market operator to date. Through the deal, Kalshi will gain access to Sportradar's sports data, integrity services, odds solutions, and customer engagement products as the platform continues expanding its sports event contracts.
The partnership also coincides with the launch of Sportradar's new Prediction Services division, a business segment specifically created to serve the growing prediction market industry. According to Sportradar CEO Carsten Koerl, prediction markets represent a growing opportunity for the sports ecosystem, and the company sees its data and technology infrastructure as a natural fit for the sector.
Kalshi Gains Access to Sportradar's Data Portfolio
Under the agreement, Sportradar will provide Kalshi with a range of products and services, including official league data, live odds feeds, fan engagement tools, customer acquisition solutions, and integrity monitoring services designed to detect suspicious activity and potential fraud.
The partnership gives Kalshi access to one of the largest sports data portfolios in the industry. Sportradar maintains partnerships with many of the world's leading sports organizations and leagues, making its data products a core part of the modern sports betting ecosystem. For Kalshi, the deal strengthens its ability to support sports-related event contracts as competition within the prediction market space continues to increase.
The agreement also creates an interesting dynamic in baseball. Earlier this year, Major League Baseball announced a separate partnership with Polymarket that included access to official league data, trademarks, and branding. Kalshi will now gain access to official MLB data through Sportradar, meaning the two largest prediction market operators will both have access to league-backed information.
Sportradar Expands Beyond Traditional Sports Betting
Sportradar first signaled its interest in prediction markets earlier this year when executives identified the sector as a potential growth area alongside traditional sportsbook services. The company noted that its expertise in low-latency data distribution, pricing infrastructure, and integrity monitoring could be applied to prediction market operators in much the same way it serves sportsbooks today.
The move comes as prediction markets continue attracting attention across the sports and gaming industries. Kalshi has expanded rapidly over the past year, securing partnerships with organizations such as Madison Square Garden Entertainment and increasing its presence across major sporting events. The platform's growth has also coincided with ongoing regulatory debates over how prediction markets should be classified and regulated in the United States.

Another Sign of Prediction Markets' Growing Influence
The Sportradar-Kalshi agreement is notable not only because of the companies involved, but also because it reflects how established sports betting suppliers are beginning to view prediction markets as a business opportunity rather than a niche category.
Recent developments have seen operators secure partnerships with sports leagues, media companies, brokers, and technology providers as the sector continues expanding. With Sportradar now launching a dedicated Prediction Services division and committing resources to the market, prediction platforms appear to be gaining further acceptance from companies that have traditionally focused on sportsbooks and gaming operators.
