Team Vitality stay red hot with a dominant 3-0 win over NaVi at BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026.

Team Vitality Sweep NaVi to Win BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026

Team Vitality are on a hot streak.

The French squad picked up another major title after a convincing 3-0 win over Natus Vincere in the grand final of the BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026. It was a series where NaVi had moments, but never really control.

Vitality came in as the team to beat, and they played like it from start to finish. They didn’t drop a single map in the playoffs and carried that same confidence into the final. Against NaVi, it felt like they always had an answer, no matter the situation.

On Inferno, Vitality set the tone early. They closed it out 13-7 after locking things down on the CT side, barely giving NaVi any breathing room. Anubis and Dust2 were closer on paper, both ending 13-10, but even then, Vitality were the ones dictating the pace.

There were small windows where NaVi looked like they could fight back, especially during late rounds on Dust2, but Vitality never panicked. That’s probably the biggest difference right now. This team just doesn’t crack.

Individually, the usual names showed up. Robin “ropz” Kool had a massive series and ended up as MVP, while Mathieu Herbaut kept doing what he’s been doing for years. Clean entries, clutch rounds, and that constant pressure that makes every fight feel unfair.

At this point, it’s getting harder to argue against ZywOo in the GOAT conversation for CS2. The consistency alone is ridiculous. Big games, big moments, same result.

But this run isn’t just about one player. This version of Vitality feels complete. Everyone knows their role, the system works, and when things get messy, they still find a way to win rounds they probably shouldn’t.

This win also says a lot about the bigger picture. Vitality have now won 3 out of 5 major CS2 tournaments to start 2026. That’s not a hot streak anymore, that’s dominance. And it didn’t just start this year. Back in 2025, they already won 9 out of 20 major events, building the foundation for what we’re seeing now.

Right now, calling Team Vitality unstoppable actually feels fair.

For NaVi, it’s another tough loss in a final. They’re still clearly one of the best teams in the world, but against this version of Vitality, being “one of the best” just isn’t enough.

As the season goes on, the question isn’t who’s number one. That’s already clear. The real question is who can actually slow Vitality down, because right now, nobody is even getting close.
