Copyright and License

UMG Gaming is open data, licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 license (CC BY-SA 4.0). In summary:

You are free to copy, distribute, transmit and adapt our data, as long as you credit UMG Gaming and its contributors. If you alter or build upon our data, you may distribute the result only under the same license. The full legal code explains your rights and responsibilities.

The license applies to the entire UMG Gaming database: operator details, site statistics, ratings, rating aggregates and player reviews. Player reviews are contributed by registered players, who agree at signup that their reviews are published under CC BY-SA 4.0, credited to their display name.

Where you use UMG Gaming data, you must do two things:

• Credit UMG Gaming with an attribution notice, for example "Data © UMG Gaming contributors".
• Make clear that the data is available under CC BY-SA 4.0, normally by linking to this page.

On the web, link the attribution notice to this copyright page. In media where links are not possible, such as print, include the full URL: umggaming.com/copyright.

The UMG Gaming name and logo identify this project and are not covered by the data license. The website's code and design are © UMG Gaming.

Operator names, logos and trademarks shown in the directory belong to their respective owners and appear for identification only. Reusing our database grants you no rights to those marks. Inclusion of an operator in UMG Gaming does not imply that the operator endorses UMG Gaming, and inclusion of its marks in the database does not place them under CC BY-SA 4.0.

Bulk downloads of the full database, in JSON and CSV, are free for everyone on our open data page. For live programmatic access, our API is available to approved partners. See the Data & API FAQ for how to request access.

Reviewers must only submit their own words about their own experiences, and our team only records facts from public sources. If you believe copyrighted material has been added to the UMG Gaming database or this site inappropriately, email alex@umggaming.com with the details and a link to the material. We review every report and remove infringing content.

The database is maintained by the UMG Gaming research team and the players who write reviews. Every published review is tied to a registered account with a public reviewer profile. Operators cannot pay to add, edit or remove anything.
