Terms of Use

UMG Gaming is an open database of US iGaming sites built together with a community of players. Our team maintains the directory and infrastructure, but player reviews are contributed by users. We do not and cannot proactively verify every review, so we do not represent or guarantee the truthfulness, accuracy or reliability of community content. Suspected problems can be reported to us and we review every report.

You are legally responsible for your own contributions. For your own protection you should avoid contributing anything that could result in criminal or civil liability under applicable laws.

UMG Gaming data available through the Services is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 license, as described on our copyright and license page. Contributions you make are governed by section III below.

Though we intend UMG Gaming to continue for the foreseeable future, we reserve the right to suspend or end the Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.

You must be at least 21 years old to use the Services. The directory covers gambling-related products, and by registering or providing personal information you represent that you are 21 or older.

You agree to provide accurate account information, to keep your login credentials secure, and to maintain only one account. Your display name is public and appears next to your reviews and on your reviewer profile. We may reclaim or require a change of display names that impersonate others, infringe trademarks, or are abusive.

Reviews exist to help other players, and their value depends on honesty. When you contribute a review, you agree that:

• it describes your own genuine experience with the site you are reviewing, in your own words;
• you have not been paid, compensated or otherwise incentivized by anyone to write it, and you will disclose any connection you have to the operator;
• you will write at most one review per site, kept up to date by editing rather than reposting;
• it is published as open data under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, credited to your display name, as you agreed at signup;
• we may remove content that violates these Terms, is fabricated, defamatory, unlawful or spam, and we may correct formatting.

You can edit or delete your own reviews at any time from your account. You receive no compensation for contributions.

You are solely responsible for your compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in your use of the Services. You may not use the Services in any manner that could damage or overburden them or interfere with anyone else's use. You may not use the Services to:

• disseminate or store material that infringes the copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights of any person;
• impersonate any person, create a false identity to mislead others, or engage in fraud, including coordinated or paid review campaigns;
• interfere with or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any computer network;
• transmit viruses or any other malicious code;
• engage in any form of unsolicited advertising or promotion;
• harass other users, or gather email addresses, real names or other personal data of other users without their express consent;
• scrape or bulk-download the site in ways that degrade it for others. The database is open data: take it under the license via our API instead, as described on the copyright page;
• engage in any other activity we reasonably deem in conflict with the spirit or intent of these Terms.

UMG Gaming is a research and information resource. We do not operate gambling services, accept wagers, or handle player funds. Nothing on the Services is legal, financial or gambling advice.

Gambling laws vary by state and change often. Listing a site does not mean it is legal or available where you live, and you are responsible for confirming that your use of any listed site is lawful in your jurisdiction. Bonuses and offers are set by operators, may change without notice, and may differ from what we have recorded.

Gambling can be addictive. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, call 1-800-GAMBLER.

You are free to stop using the Services at any time.

We may cancel or suspend your account for violation of these Terms. Upon cancellation or suspension, your right to use the Services stops immediately, and attempting to evade a suspension, such as by creating a new account, is itself a violation of these Terms.

While your account is active you can edit or delete your own reviews. If your account is cancelled or suspended, reviews you published may remain publicly available under the open data license.

You agree that we may freely use any feedback, suggestions or ideas you provide relating to the Services.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision is severable and does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. Headings are for convenience only.

No joint venture, partnership, employment or agency relationship exists between you and UMG Gaming as a result of these Terms or your use of the Services.

If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve it directly.

These Terms and any claim between you and UMG Gaming are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which UMG Gaming is established, without reference to conflict of laws principles. You agree that any legal claim must be filed in the courts with jurisdiction over UMG Gaming' principal place of business, and that any claim must be filed within one year after the facts underlying it could have been discovered with reasonable diligence, or be forever barred.

Your use of the Services is at your sole risk. We provide the Services on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and we expressly disclaim all express or implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We make no warranty that the Services will be accurate, uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

We are not responsible for the content, data, products or actions of third parties, including the operators listed in the directory. Your relationship with any operator, including deposits, play, winnings and losses, is solely between you and that operator, and you release UMG Gaming from any claims arising out of it. Any material obtained through the Services is obtained at your own discretion and risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UMG Gaming and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability for all claims related to the Services is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100).

We may add, change or remove features of the Services at any time, and we may revise these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its last-updated date. If we make material changes we will note them prominently on the site. Your continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
