GameSquare Holdings, the parent company of FaZe Clan, has entered into a new partnership with MEGA Advanced Ltd. to oversee sponsorship sales for the Esports Awards and The Mobies (The Mobile Awards).
Under the agreement, GameSquare will be responsible for securing commercial partners for both award shows, expanding its portfolio of gaming and esports properties while giving brands new opportunities to reach audiences across competitive gaming and mobile entertainment.
The partnership marks another step in GameSquare's strategy to strengthen its commercial business by adding established gaming events to its sponsorship network.
GameSquare Expands Its Commercial Portfolio
As part of the agreement, GameSquare will lead sponsorship sales for both the Esports Awards and The Mobies, working with brands interested in associating with the industry's two largest gaming awards programs.
The company said it will leverage its existing relationships across gaming, creator content, media, data, and live events to develop sponsorship opportunities for both properties.
According to GameSquare, adding the Esports Awards and The Mobies to its portfolio increases the range of commercial opportunities it can offer brands targeting Gen Z, Gen Alpha, and Millennial gaming audiences. The company also noted that expanding the number of properties under its commercial platform allows it to build larger integrated marketing campaigns while extending existing partnerships across multiple gaming experiences.
For MEGA Advanced, the agreement provides additional commercial support for two award shows that have become annual fixtures within the gaming industry.
Two Awards Celebrating Gaming and Esports
Founded in 2016, the Esports Awards recognize achievements across competitive gaming, honoring players, teams, coaches, organizations, publishers, creators, broadcasters, and brands that have contributed to the industry's growth.
The Mobies, launched in 2023, focuses specifically on the mobile gaming ecosystem, celebrating developers, creators, esports competitors, publishers, and personalities across one of gaming's fastest-growing sectors.
MEGA Advanced CEO Mike Ashford said the partnership is expected to expand the commercial reach of both events while creating new opportunities for brands to engage with gaming communities.
"We have built the Esports Awards and The Mobies into global platforms that celebrate the people and companies advancing gaming and mobile culture. GameSquare brings extensive brand relationships and an integrated set of commercial capabilities across gaming, creators, content and experiences."
GameSquare CEO Justin Kenna added that premium intellectual property continues to play an increasingly important role in the company's commercial strategy, describing both awards programs as established platforms that connect many of the gaming industry's leading organizations, publishers, creators, and brands.
Partnership Continues GameSquare's Expansion
The agreement with MEGA Advanced is the latest in a series of commercial partnerships announced by GameSquare this year.
Earlier in 2026, the company renewed and expanded its long-running partnership with Riot Games, extending a relationship that began in 2019. GameSquare also partnered with the U.S. Army Installation Management Command to produce Soldier Showdown 8, further expanding its work across gaming events and branded experiences.
By adding sponsorship sales responsibilities for the Esports Awards and The Mobies, GameSquare continues to position itself as a broader gaming media and commercial services company rather than solely the parent organization of FaZe Clan.
As investment in gaming and esports sponsorships continues to grow, partnerships like this reflect the increasing value brands place on established events that attract highly engaged gaming communities around the world.
