Kinetic Markets has partnered with Solidus Labs to strengthen trade surveillance across its platform, which is another step towards building institutional grade infrastructure for the prediction market industry.
The partnership will see Solidus Labs provide its HALO surveillance technology to monitor trading activity, helping detect potential market abuse, insider trading and other suspicious behaviour. The move comes as Kalshi continues to attract greater interest from institutional participants and expands its prediction market ecosystem.
Focus on Market Integrity
According to Kinetic Markets, the partnership is designed to improve oversight as trading volumes continue to grow.
Solidus Labs already works with Kalshi, providing surveillance across thousands of event contract markets. By extending the same technology to Kinetic Markets, the companies hope to create a more consistent compliance framework as institutional trading activity increases.
The surveillance platform monitors trading in real time, looking for signs of market manipulation, insider trading and other activity that could affect market integrity.
Preparing for Institutional Growth
The announcement comes as Kalshi continues to position prediction markets as a product that can appeal to institutional investors as well as retail users.
Over the past year, the company has introduced new trading tools, expanded its infrastructure and entered partnerships aimed at making its platform more accessible to professional traders. Adding this layer of trade surveillance is expected to support those efforts by giving institutions greater confidence in how markets are monitored.
Prediction Market Infrastructure Continues to Expand
As prediction markets continue to evolve, companies are investing not only in new products but also in the technology that supports them.
Trade surveillance has become an increasingly important part of that process, particularly as trading volumes rise and more institutional participants enter the market.
For Kinetic Markets, the partnership with Solidus Labs is another sign that prediction market operators are placing greater emphasis on transparency, compliance and market integrity as the sector continues to mature.
