Sportradar expects prediction markets to become an increasingly important part of its business after revealing they are on track to generate tens of millions of euros in revenue this year.

The update came during the company's Q2 2026 earnings call, where executives highlighted the instant growth of the prediction market sector and the expanding number of partnerships with operators. The company believes demand for official data, integrity services and technology solutions will continue to rise as prediction markets become more widely adopted.

Prediction Markets Continue to Gain Momentum

Sportradar has spent the past year strengthening its presence in the prediction market industry, signing agreements with companies including Kalshi and Polymarket.

The company supplies official sports data, integrity monitoring and technology services that help power prediction market platforms. Executives said those partnerships are already contributing to revenue growth, with prediction markets expected to become a meaningful business line over the coming years.

Strong Quarter for Sportradar

Alongside its prediction market update, Sportradar reported 19% year on year revenue growth in the second quarter, with revenue reaching approximately €378 million.

The company also raised its full year outlook, pointing to continued demand for its betting technology, data products and media services despite ongoing investment in new areas of the business.

Growing Opportunity for the Industry

Prediction markets have become one of the fastest growing areas of the sports technology sector, particularly following record trading volumes during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

As more operators enter the space, companies like Sportradar are benefiting from increased demand for the infrastructure needed to support those platforms, including official data feeds, live odds, integrity monitoring and risk management tools.

With more partnerships expected and institutional interest continuing to grow, Sportradar believes prediction markets will play an increasingly important role in its long term strategy.
