Esports World Cup 2026 Venue Confirmed
The Esports World Cup Foundation has officially confirmed Paris Expo Porte de Versailles as the venue for EWC 2026. The event will feature 25 tournaments across 24 titles, with ticket sales opening on May 29.

The Esports World Cup Foundation has confirmed that Paris Expo Porte de Versailles will host the 2026 Esports World Cup, giving the event an official home just over a week after the tournament’s relocation to France was announced.
The venue reveal wraps up a hectic month for the EWC, which spent most of May at the center of reports surrounding its sudden move away from Riyadh. Saudi Arabia had hosted the event since its launch, making Paris the first city outside the country to stage the tournament.
This year’s edition will run from July 6 to August 23 and feature 25 tournaments across 24 game titles. More than 2,000 players and over 200 esports clubs are expected to attend, with the overall prize pool set at $75 million.
Paris Expo Becomes the Center of EWC 2026
Unlike previous editions spread across multiple venues in Riyadh, most of the 2026 event is expected to operate out of a centralized setup at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. The venue is already familiar to gaming audiences through events like Paris Games Week and has regularly hosted large-scale international conventions and esports productions.
The Esports World Cup Foundation said the site will house tournament stages, broadcast operations, fan zones, and festival activities throughout the seven-week event. Some reports have also suggested that select finals could still be moved to larger venues around Paris depending on the title.
The shift to Paris also changes the event operationally. Broadcast schedules are expected to lean more heavily toward European time zones this year, something the Foundation already acknowledged following the relocation announcement.

Ticket Sales Open May 29
Ticket sales for the Esports World Cup 2026 will officially begin on May 29 through the tournament’s official website.
The Foundation has not fully detailed ticket tiers or pricing yet, though registrations for updates and early access have already gone live. With Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, League of Legends, Valorant, and Fortnite all expected to headline the schedule again, demand is likely to ramp up quickly once sales open.
Paris will also host the newly announced Esports Nations Cup alongside the main EWC competition, adding another major event to an already packed summer calendar.
